Dundee United boss Peter Houston's Tannadice future to be revealed

Dundee United have called a press conference for Thursday, which is likely to reveal the future of boss Peter Houston.

Houston and chairman Stephen Thompson are both expected to attend the event at Tannadice, which comes days after United gave their manager permission to speak to Blackpool.
There has been no word as to how those talks went - if they happened at all - and on Tuesday MK Dons boss Karl Robinson confirmed he had been approached by Blackpool.
United have said they wanted to renew their contract talks with Houston, whose deal expires at the end of the season.
A statement on United's official website on Tuesday said: "Directors of Dundee United today met with manager Peter Houston and his representative to discuss his contract situation.
"These discussions were amicable and will continue later this week."
Houston had earlier admitted he was surprised United had given Blackpool permission to speak to him because he was still talking to the club about a new deal.
