Southampton winger Jason Puncheon has revealed he hopes to win a new deal at St Mary's

Southampton winger Jason Puncheon has revealed he hopes to win a new deal at St Mary's.

Puncheon, who scored Southampton's equaliser against Chelsea in midweek, is out of contract in the summer and as yet no new deal has been agreed.
The 26-year-old is happy to stay at Southampton after establishing himself as a key member of Nigel Adkins' side.
"I'm hoping to be, I'm happy here, and that's the most important thing," Puncheon told the Daily Echo.
Puncheon refused to disclose whether contract talks had begun, as he added: "I can just say that I'm happy here and that's all I can say, and what will be dealt with will be dealt with internally."
