Catania insist reported AC and Inter Milan target Francesco Lodi is staying
Catania president Antonino Pulvirenti has underlined that midfielder Francesco Lodi will not leave the club this month despite reported interest from AC Milan and Inter.
The 28-year-old has established himself as a key player at the Sicilian club since joining in the 2011 winter transfer window.
His performances for Catania are thought to have alerted the Milan clubs but Pulvirenti has refused to speak about the possibility of a move.
The club president insists Italian Lodi, who has scored four goals in 19 league appearances this season, is staying put.
He told Sky Italia: "He remains. The club have allowed him to become who he is now and from our side we respect the word 'done'."
Puvirenti added of the reported interest from Milan: "I don't want to talk with others. We respect what we say."
