Christian Eriksen is focused on Ajax despite ongoing interest, says his agent

The agent of Danish ace Christian Eriksen maintains the midfielder's focus is on Ajax despite ongoing interest.

The highly-rated Denmark international has long been linked with a host of European heavyweights, including Manchester United, but a move is yet to materialise.
Eriksen's agent, Martin Schoots, says the 20-year-old, whose contract at Ajax expires in summer 2014, remains focused on the Amsterdam club as they prepare to face title rivals Feyenoord at home on Sunday.
But he admits interest in the youngster has not waned as he continues to impress in the Eredivisie.
Schoots said: "For the last couple of weeks, and also because of the holidays, the press have kept their distance, which is something (Eriksen) does not regret.
"I'm not saying that this means no-one is interested as it would be strange for a player who has been followed by the biggest clubs in football since he was 14 years old to not be on their radar anymore."
He added: "He is improving strongly and for the third consecutive season he is again improving his goal average in the league.
"Before Ajax's trip to Brazil (for their winter training camp), Christian's focus was on the big match coming up against Feyenoord and that is what he wants to keep focusing on.
"Christian just wants to concentrate on his football, but you never know what might happen in football."
